The was great came out hot

The pancakes were absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his eggs, mine however, it seems it's hard not to break those yolks. I get verry annoyed when I ask for the yolk cooked though and unbroken but I get eggs with broken yolks. I won't eat them. It's almost insulting when they give them to me anyway 🤷🤦 My husband ate them so at least they didn't go to waste. Other than that the place was ok.

Maria was our server, she's very attentive to her customers and helpful with ordering. I love it when my server's know the menu and how things taste❤

Stopped for a bite to eat on our way back from Vermont. Good food and service. Homemade pies and other desserts.

On January 8 me and my wife when for breakfast wish we have been there before and has always been a good place to have something to eat and very reasonable prices.😉

Love going here for my Sunday brunches. They have an amazing French toast combo meal and there sausage biscuits and gravy are great too.

Don't let outside of diner fool you. Inside is nice and more importantly very clean. They actually wash the windows regularly and properly wipe down the tables. Even the cook was well kempt when he came out of kitchen. We had breakfast, sausage gravy with biscuits, eggs and home fries. Wife had scrapple with her eggs. Both very good, fast service and hot food. Waitresses were pleasant and professional. Great breakfast. Give it a try.

Food was okay. And the waitresses weren't very friendly. I ordered carry-out and needed some things because we were staying in a hotel, but I felt like asking her to get me something that I needed was a bother, AND THEY WERE NOT BUSY AT ALL!!

Absolutely awesome diner. The wait staff is very professional and the coOwner/hostess is a great addition to the atmosphere. Food is superb and the desserts are fabulous. Especially the Irish cream cake and the Irish cream pie!!! Stop by and try, u will thank me!!! J&S

Pioneer Diner has been here for as long as I can remember. The food is great, I love the French toast, nice thick pieces made with challah bread!

Nice people . Nice atmosphere. Food not the best. Had the basics. Blt and a burger . toast was soggy as well as the pickle. Burger seemed frozen and defrosted

Visiting from out of town, we stopped at this diner for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely stop here again if in the area. The french toast and sausage was perfectly cooked and the food came out hot and quick. The waitress and staff was friendly and the place looked clean upon entering.

No frills diner. Service was really great. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was freshly breaded and tasted good however the pasta sauce tasted mostly of green peppers and was watery. Had to use much parmesan cheese to mask the taste.

Excellent food. Went here for breakfast and dinner during a mini getaway to the Pocono resort. The food is priced perfectly, the service is excellent. The pancakes are heavenly. If you are in the area. Eat here. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait for breakfast there tomorrow.

Food is really good. Place is clean and easy to see from road. Prices are the same as other local diners. We went 9-19-19 for dinner. The waitress was so kind and helpful.

Was very impressed by the food and the speed of service. Their homemade Carrot cake was awesome.

My family enjoyed their breakfast. We were seated quickly and the food came out within 10 minutes of placing our order. The French toast was delicious! I had my regular western omelette with home fries and toast which was good. If we are in this area again- we will definitely visit Pioneer Diner again.

Excellent french toast! Pretty normal diner fare otherwise. Service was good. Definitely try the French toast if you visit!

My family and I stopped here for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The chicken noodle soup was freshly made, not from a can, and my grilled chicken cordon bleau sandwich was delicious. My son devoured his fried chicken meal which filled his plate. My daughter loved her bacon burger with what looked like a thick slab of crispy bacon. My wife had the huge chef's salad. The restaurant was clean and bright, and the waitress was most attentive and cheerful.The bill was very reasonable. I noticed that they serve up some freshly baked Greek pastries that looked tasty. My children enjoyed the huge slices of fresh baked brownies with chocolate frosting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food. They run daily specials that are all ways worth checking out. The staff is on the ball. Service is fast and courteous. They run breakfast food all day too which is great since i love breakfast food any time day or night. Its great for hang overs and the munchies

Good breakfast place. Sunday morning at 1130 am it was busy but there is plenty of seating so the wait was not too long . The portion were excellent, everything cooked well and tasty. The waitress was quick and on her toes. If anything maybe just a little too fast. **Pro tip** "The Two eggs Country" with sausage comes with home fries. It does not say this in the menu and when I asked for hash browns I ended up with both O_o4 stars! Will return.

A pleasant surprise! This thankfully is not a chain or tourist trap. The food is good and plentiful. The menu is sized so that food moves to tables quickly and efficiently. Service was very good.

I'm glad we found this diner when staying in the area. The staff was friendly and we had an enjoyable conversation with the waitresses at a non-busy time of the day. I can recommend the pancakes and the chicken fried steak. I'll probably try the scrapple if we get a chance to visit this diner again.

This is the best dinner I’ve ever been to. Stopped by to have breakfast with my family since we stayed at the Kalahari resort. Can’t wait to came back over the summer before I hit the Whitewater Rafting at Mt. Poconos!

I’ve lived in the area for 13 years and never visited this diner till now. I slapped myself from all the good eating I robbed myself from. Good coffee and great fluffy pancakes. Absolutely, a great experience. Best of all, the diner is clean. Highly recommended.

The food was really good. I ordered French toast, bacon and home fries. The French toast was to die for. It reminds me of Bob Evans restaurant French toast. The bacon was good. Eileen was my server. She was really nice and attentive. This is the only place that I will eat while I'm visiting the Poconos. Very nice atmosphere. Food came out quick. I will definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a wonderful experience Eileen.
